Why crease?
Digitally printed and offset printed sheets on coated papers need to be pre creased before folding. Otherwise the print surface will crack, leaving an ugly scar across the page.
Our creasers allow you to gently break the paper grain, providing a hinge, while at the same time pushing the printed image into the paper, thus eliminating cracking altogether.
Photobook solution
We realized that there was a big, untapped market for high-quality photobooks. Our client can produce lay-flat, edge-to-edge photobooks with a rigid card feel to the page by using our machines. They can make the page block by inserting a self-adhesive card mounted sheet (200 or 500 micron) between each folded spread.
